ok, obviously you have never watched Armchair commandos. Easy to follow, woodsball, everything you just said, its the opposite of. Easy to follow rules, easy to understand format, and a lot like scenario play.
Same thing here, and please don't think we have a lot of backers, because we're a flat broke team. We used to play speedball, and still do for fun, but we CHOSE to not renew our sposorships and do Scenario games all year, and guess what, we got a few NEW Sponsors. They are out there, go get them. As far as gadgets, we still havn't quit our dayjobs, so we spend every extra penny after bills on our hobbies... mine are my family, Motorcycles, and Paintball. Should I be penalized just because I'm smart and creative and I know a lot about science? I don't think so.
All I'm saying is it WILL be easy to follow, Its in an urdan setting and I'm sure there are cameras everywhere. It won't be hard to tell teams apart, it won't be vague in the rules, it will have set guidlines, and everything you feel will destroy its integrity will only serve to boost its level of competativeness.
Stop being so pessamistic and have a little faith that the leagues creators will have all of this figures out by the time gameday gets here in NOVEMBER. April is a trial run people. Its the trial that will judge what is and isn't allowed. If you don't cover absolutely every contingent and show up at the game in april, then how willyou have a definative rule on what will and will not offset the balance of the game? you can't. the only way anyone can know is to try. wmaybe after A flamer is used, I'll agree with you snake, and mayby you'll agree with me, but if no flamers show up, how will anyone ever know the impact a flamer can have on this league?
Your best bet is to actually help in the elimination process once it begins, after april, not before hand. How can you outright eliminate something before the boundries of said elimination have been tested.
