As many of you know we are working on the scoring system for the November Games. Thanks to the trial games and all of you that came out we now have a better idea on how the system will need to work. It will be an electronic system. Players will be swiped into the field and playing area. This will help control the kills and the amount of live players on the field for points.
Something that was brought to my attention on the trial games was that one team had to leave early due to the fact that they did have some family member in the hospital, but still came out to help in the trial runs. Thank you very much "Team Wacata" for still coming out after all that. True sportsmanship to the game.
So on that note, that left one team not to be able to play them. Team Wacata and Gods Of War didn't get the chance to mix it up on the field due to the fact, but will in the future games to come.
I'm using this example for a reason for the future games. When the true games are in effect. This is a good example for future games. If any team leaves or doesn't show up on there game time it will count as a for-fit to them and the win will go towards the other team. In the real games in November a team will need to be present from the start to the end. I understand it was trial games, but I wanted to point this out for the future so it won't cause any problems.
The good news is that every team still played the same amount of games as all the rest that stayed to the end. Only thing was that some teams played twice against the same team. Either way I thank you all again for coming out to support the trial games and helping find the little clicks with in the system, and I promise this won't happen again. My apologies to all for some confusion, but it was a learning format and we learned from it. Thank you
