if you noticed, i too voted no on the tank issue.  I think it would be a hinderence as a team on team format.... shortly therefter it was decided by the powers that be that takes would be third party only... read back a few posts, you'd see that.  You could only call it a sample if you selected  a group of people at random to poll for a majority, not if you give everyone a chance and they follow their right NOT to vote.  I wish more people would vote too, but the cold hard truth is, most people just don't care one way or the other.

I would hardly call it giving everyone a chance...did you send out an announcement to all the posted users? Is the thread labeled "Vote for Tanks" or anything similiar? Of course not (and I'm not looking for that) BUT please don't claim a statistical majority because 20 people have weighed in on a thread that you and I happen to pay attention to (apparently more than anyone else)

actually yes.... polls get an announcement when a polll is created... The icon even chages to signify a poll is in order for all readers... so please let this one go, all are able to vote, some choose not to.  Everything possible short of spam and bulk mail and phonecalls to sway a populus.  Everyone was notified, only 20 responded....whose fault is that? not mine, not yours, they simply COULD CARE LESS! Deal with it.

Still hiding behind your paltry irresponsible 20 person vote to justify tanks eh? Less than .5% of ALL the users voted and this is considered a good gauge of what the players will want? I'm willing to give this a pass and let it play out on the field so the Scenario players can love it and the tactical players can roll their eyes.

Admit it, you LIKE the tank concept no matter how goofy it could get. You thought the uniform concept was difficult?...how are you going to regulate tanks?...When someone pulls up in a painted green Dodge 2-Door that will reduce the "realism" factor to?....uh 3.

actually i don't like the tank idea, thus the reason I voted NO.  I'm not hiding behind any percentage of on this, I'm merely saying people just dont care one way or the other.  I don't want tanks, I think its  to overpowering if it follows standard tank rules.  I can't argue with third party tanks however, because that levels the playing field.

Now SWAT does use Riot control Tahoe's and Suburbans with al kinds of gizmos, but that leads our argument back toy your budget issue, so please lets not go there.

It's like this, you voted no, I voted no, we're both saying they shouldn't be allowed, why are you still trying to argue with me on this??? It makes no sense.

I was more irritated than anything that you claimed a "majority" of people want it by how the voting is going. I just don't think you will get a real accurate chance at voting results until the April game.

I didn't clamim a majority want it, I claimed a majority of the people who care to vote wanted it.  I've not changed my view on this, I've stated it time and time again.  only 20 people have cared to even vote.   out of those who have shown they consider this an important issue, at least important enought to vote, the majority fel its a good idea, and I am not one of them.

You realize there is a reason that some places require voting by half of the members to consider it valid right? That ensures that the situation isn't misread just because of the situation. 20 people voted...woo! Must be a pretty popular concept.

Hundreds of people are going to play, but only 20 care enough to vote? Sorry, not buying it when some of the people who registered to play aren't in the "know" they just signed up to get a date and sign-up info and that is all they need to know. It doesn't say on the opening page "Vote NOW to make decisions on this league" (and I'm not advocating for that just pointing it out)

All along I've given my reasons why instead of a poll Hitman & Co. should just say "nope, sorry this is tactical we don't need gimmicks" and make a ruling. We don't need a voting democracy on this one we just need commmon sense.

who in their right mind would sign up and join a league, paying money to do so without knowing what the leage was even about?  Thats rediculous, and you know it.  Did you register without know what you were getting into? is that why your fighting so hard? Is that why you have no faith in Hitman and the Undertakers?  Come on, have a little faith and trust you me, they will do right by everyone.
