Michigan Recon Paintball (MRP) is in Organization spanning lower Michigan that was created to form a community of paintballers that span beyond single team affiliations. MRP currently has three team; the Rag Tag Renegades in eastern MI, The Ottawa Warriors in West MI, and the Iron Knights in south eastern MI. MRP is not only recruiting individual members to join our teams, but open to the possibility of new teams joining our community. Currently none of our teams compete in the TTPL, but I know that at least my team, the Ottawa Warriors, would be open to the idea.
If you are a representative of a team that might be interested in joining you may be asking what are the benefits of MPR. Well first of all I have already stressed that we are a community of paintballers with a common goal, and a common forum. All major events that MRP attends are done together as one group. Teams camp together, stage together, and work together on the field. Members of one team, more or less, respect the commands of officers of others.
Instead of just be an individual team amongst the mass of teams, joining MRP may be able to get you on the map. MRP has close relations with GLR, AOG, Chicago Heretics, Neplusultra, Northern Shield, FUBAR, and many more. For example the Ottawa Warriors were started just this spring and now our name is know by all and more of the teams previously mentioned.
