any idea's on sponsors? The travel is gonna and league fee's are gonna kill us.
No sponsor is going to dish out cash before they even know you and what you can do for them. I say visit your local field first. Play there and offer to help out with what is needed. Reffing, cleaning and even running there retail store if any. Build a relationship with them. After that ask them to see what they can and if they can do for you as towards discounts on equipment or even connection in the business. Make a professional team resume and send it out in a printed binder format. Follow up with them by phone calls. Don't stop at the first no you hear from the industry. Keep going and even check back a few times during the year. Most sponsor will look to fill there budgets by the end of the year before the new year comes around.
Best thing to do is also hit up your local store and places you and your team members spend money. It may be your local bar, pizza place or gas station. Things like that help out a lot and usually more then looking for paintball sponsors.
Remember to work hard and believe in your team and yourself and everything will come to you. It may take some time or maybe not, but if you believe and support the sport and the people that you want to sponsor you and there products. It will all come to you in the end.
