Joker,
I have to say, your list is very well put together as a how-to. Personally I think you're only scratching the surface here. There are many more things that go into every one of those steps. go to paintballzone.com and check out OSOK if you guys are wanting to learn from some pretty tough minds in this field. And if you guys are in the MD area, hit me up if you want to go head to head or practice. I've got life like targets and all at my disposal for training.

Yes, I know it's not much.  That's why I'm putting the Sniper Guide together.  Almost have it completed for the first version.  I'm a member of OSOK though I haven't been on there for some time.  I don't really like the setup of the site.  Glad you liked my stuff though.

For those who care, my sniper guide is almost complete.  Just fleshing out some typos and it'll be good to go.

I'm talking to a guy I know at Spec Ops to see if they can help me with distributing it to the masses.  Looks good thus far.

Fraid I'm in the East Texas area.  Thanks for the invite though.  If I'm ever up in that area, I'll be sure to give you a holler man.  ^^

Found out something that can be of great interest to not just "snipers" but every one.  A teammate of mine told me that if you use a yellow lens during the night, you can actually see better in the dark.  Now, I believe him about this because he's a reliable guy, but it may just work for him because he's different or he may just think it does.  I don't know.  But it's definetly worth checking out guys.

thats because yellow lenses ampliy ambient light but block out UV.  I have a yellow lens on my Motocycle Helmet.  Furthermore Red anodized lenses, amplify UV but use standard lighting, so if you have red lenses and in Infared emmiter flashlight, then a red les would act like a rudametary 1st gen nightvision.

definatly find everything useful. didn't know about the yellow lens, or red lens with IR beam thing. knew a thing or 2 about sniping you hang out with marine snipers your bound to pick up a few trade secrets. i for one a firm believer in the paintball sniper for the awesome power one holds as one, people think twice if they know or even think you are waiting for them to take a peak out the bush, window, door or the likes. same with the aspect as a scout, thats the primary purpose for the marine SCOUT/SNIPER teams. great post. Oh one question though, do the T68 Gen5 with rifled barrel make good sniping weapons??? Cause i just bought one but haven't been able to use it on account of i'm in iraq right now and it is sitting back at home for me.

Thanks guys.  Glad ya'll liked.

Sniper_Alpha.  Any gun can be an effective "sniper" rifle if you're comfortable with it.  I use a VSC Phantom, two 98's and about to get an A-5.  Have more guns, but those are just my "sniping" ones.  lol  But aside from a double trouble, pretty much all guns can be effective "sniper" guns if you learn to use it properly and you find it to your liking.  I have no experience withe the T68 Gen5, but I'm sure it works just fine.  Once you do get a chance to use it, let me know what you think of it man.  :)  Hope you make it back home safely man.  God bless.

Fraid I'm still waiting to hear back from the guys at SpecOps about publishing my Sniper Guide.  They're quite busy at the moment with some new patents and such so I'm afraid it might be a few more months.  Sorry guys.  But be assured that I'm still making minor adjustments to it to make it better, and I'm not relenting on the guys at SpecOps.
