well, looks like nov. 14 will see 10-12 HeadHunters come up for a wee bit of a private game at our lil outlaw field.

we've doubled out field size, now 1000' x 400', we'll be adding atleast another structure this weekend. maybe a crashed plane or something like that.

this is a friendly (lol) game between us (angry moose) and them... for bragging rights. should be lots of fun... i'll keep you all posted to the outcome.

Moose Hunt 09, Worst Case Scenario

Nov 14, 2009

Quarry Rd. Outlaw Fields 1 and 2
Haileybury Ontario

The weather was overcast in the morning turning to partial cloud cover with sunny breaks. Warm with a slight breeze from the south.... Couldn't ask for better weather for paintball.

Twenty shooters showed up to take part in the days festivities, including Locomo and Crazyheadbanger out of Sudbury.

1st game was standard elimination to get everyones juices flowing.

Worst Case Senario saw 18 shooters divided into two teams searching for Locomo and myself who were carrying bombs. The bombs were needed to blow up the opposing team's base thus ending the game and determining the winner. Understand this is the simple description. We'll be using this format for our Hired Guns next season so I won't give up all it's secrets. So far everyone that has played this game has said it's alot of fun so I imagine that squad on squad on squad will be a blast.

We took a break for lunch, some of the guys brought hotdogs etc and a bbq and made sure everyone was all fed up. Thanks ResQ for working the bbq and to all the people that brought food. wasn't expected but sure was appreciated.

During the lunch break some of the guys tried their hand a quick draw with pistols. It was a lot of fun to watch.... Watch out, I think I see some future pistol champions coming out of Northern Ontario.

After lunch we got back at playing some attack and defend with Axe45 weilding a camera.... Some good photos will be forth coming. We pretty much ended our day of play as the sun was setting.

ResQ opened his house for a bit of a get together, with pizza and refreshments, where we rehashed the days play and looked at the pics and vids that Axe shot.

Thank you to all that attended and made this probably the best day of paintball this old man has played. On a sad note, 3 of our shooters couldn't make it out. Twinpeeks suffered a stroke. To my knowledge he is at home now. Our prayers are with him and his family and we wish him a speedy recovery. I can honestly say I missed his gun on the field even though alot of the time it's pointed at me.
